Welcome to Speakmania.com, an online service designed for language exchanges.

By becoming a Speakmania Member and by using the Speakmania service, you accept and agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these Terms of Service, you should not register with Speakmania.

Registration

To register with Speakmania and to become a Speakmania Member you must be at least 12 years of age and fill in all mandatory fields in the registration forms with true and accurate information.

Use of Speakmania Service

The Speakmania service is for personal and non-commercial use only. It is not to use for professional or commercial ends.

You may not make comments or submit any form of content that is or might be illegal, unauthorized, contrary to Speakmania's purpose, to the laws and regulations in force or to good moral standards.

While Speakmania prohibits such contents and materials, you understand and agree that you nonetheless may be exposed to such contents or materials and that you use the Speakmania service at your own risk.You may not to mention on Speakmania any personal information such as your real name, email address, phone number, address, etc. enabling a Speakmania Member to contact another Speakmania Member without using the Speakmania service.

Speakmania reserves the right to remove any content, account, profile, photo or materials that Speakmania determines vulgar, contrary to the spirit of learning languages, infringe or violate any party's intellectual property, other proprietary rights or these Terms of Service, without notification or compensation.

What information do we gather?

In addition, certain non-personal information can be gathered such as the browser version or type, the type of operating system used and the IP address of the computer used.

Speakmania uses cookies, intended to store information identifying the Member when she/he is using Speakmania, in order to avoid having the Member enter this information manually on each page visited.

We will never sell, rent or distribute any personal information to any third party.

Correcting or Updating Information

You can modify or update your personal information at any time by logging into your account and by accessing your "My Profile" page.

You can terminate your Speakmania account at any time by logging into your account and by following the instructions on your "My Profile" page. Your profile and all related information and files will be removed.

Email Notifications

Speakmania may send you email notifications about your account as well as news and updates about the Speakmania service. These email notifications are necessary for the normal functioning of the Speakmania service.

If you wish to no longer receive updates about your account or any other email notifications, you may opt-out of receiving these communications by updating your email notifications via the link contained in the email or by logging into your account and by updating your settings in "My profile" page.

Termination

You can terminate your Speakmania account at any time by logging into your account and by following the instructions on "My Profile" page. Your profile and all related information and files will be removed.

Speakmania reserves the right to terminate accounts which are inactive for more than one year.

Other Members

Speakmania does not control the information provided by other Members, therefore Speakmania takes no responsibility for false statements made by a Member. Speakmania discloses to you that there are risks of dealing with underage persons or people acting under false pretence. Please use caution and common sense when using our service.

Restriction of Liability

Speakmania will not be liable for any damages or injury caused by, including but not limited to, any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation of transmission, computer virus, or line failure. Speakmania will not be liable for any damages or injury, including but not limited to, special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the materials in this site, even if there is negligence or Speakmania has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or both.
